What the app stores, and where

When you file a photo, a video, a PDF or a document into a box, the app makes its own copy inside its private storage, so the box keeps working even if you later delete the original. A link is stored as the address only. Page names, box titles and your settings are stored the same way.

This data stays on your device. It is not uploaded anywhere, and the developer has no access to it and no way to read it. Uninstalling the app deletes it.

What leaves your device

One thing does: a purchase. 2DO offers an optional one-off purchase (2DO Pro) that unlocks the remaining pages. The purchase is handled entirely by Google Play (or, on iOS, by Apple). The app never sees your name, your card or your address — the store tells it only whether the purchase exists, so it can unlock the feature. This is the only reason the app uses the internet at all; it makes no other network connection, and it works fully offline otherwise.

Two things leave the device only when you ask for them, and only to where you choose: a backup file you export, and anything you share out of the app. Both go through your phone’s own share menu, to the app or folder you pick. The developer never receives them.

Permissions

• Internet — used only to complete a purchase through Google Play.
• Billing — the standard Google Play purchase permission.

That is the whole list. The app asks for no access to your photos, your gallery, the camera, your location or your contacts. A document you file is chosen in the system file picker, which hands the app that one file and nothing else; a photo or a video arrives only when you share it to the app yourself from another app.

Children

2DO is a general-purpose app, not directed at children, and collects no data from anyone, including children.

Advertising and analytics

The app contains no advertising, no analytics, no tracking, no crash reporting and no third-party components that collect data about you. There is no user account, no sign-in and no profile.

Your rights

Because no personal data is collected or transmitted, there is nothing for the developer to disclose, correct or delete on your request. The data the app holds is on your device and under your control: you can delete it inside the app, or remove all of it by uninstalling the app. A backup file you export is yours alone — it goes only where you send it.

Changes

If this policy changes, the new version will be published on this page with a new date.
